COMBINED MD. MSCR DEGREE1.
This combined degree program will allow you to
remain a COM student while completing the
requirements for the Masters in Science in
Clinical Research Degree.
Specialty Specific Research is supported.
A blended curriculum is recommended and will
allow the student to enroll in one (1) COM
Elective each semester.
An additional tuition fee of $22,000 will be
applied.
2. RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP POSITIONS
Research Fellowship positions can be available both
internally (MUSC Departments) or at other
universities/institutions.
A fellowship will allow you to fully engage in research for
one academic year - in addition, network with another
program/university.
Students can locate these opportunities on program
websites, list serves, or notifications from Careers in
Medicine team.
Students are placed on a leave of absence during the
fellowship year.
3. NIH/GRANT FUNDED OPPORTUNITIES
Research opportunities are offered by a variety of
organizations.
A fellowship will allow you to fully engage in research
and research based education for one academic
year.
Students are placed on a leave of absence during the
fellowship year. Stipend based opportunities may be
available.
