CertificatesandchooseAddShortcut.Thiswillputthe

Certificatesselectionasashort‐cutwhenyou

haveapdfopenandyouwillnotneedtodothesefirsttwostepsthenexttime.

4.TheCertificatestoolbarwillappearabovethepdfdocument.ChooseDigitallySign.

5.Adialogboxshould

appearwithinstructions.Ifthedialogboxdoesnotappear,theinstructions

indicatetouseyourmousetoclickanddragtodrawarectangularareawhereyouwouldlikethe

signaturetoappear.

6.Afteryou’veusedyourmousetodrawtherectangle,theSignwithaDigitalID

willappear.

a.IfyouhaveadigitalIDsetup,selecttheDigitalIDandchooseContinue.

b.ThenextdialogboxwillpromptforyourdigitalIDPINorPassword.Oncethatisentered,

choosesign.Youcanalsochoosetolockthedocumentaftersigning.

IfyoudonothaveadigitalIDorwouldliketocreateanewdigitalID,selectConfigureNew

DigitalID.YouwillbewalkedthroughcreatingadigitalIDthatyoucan savetoafile.

i.ChooseCreateanewDigitalIDandthenchooseContinue.

SavetoFileandthenContinue.

iii.EnterappropriateinformationforthedigitalID: 

Name,OrgUnit(department),etc.andchooseContinue

iv.ThedigitalIDwillhaveadefaultlocationwhereitissaved.ChooseBrowsetosaveto

analternatelocation.Thenenterapassword(twice)andselect

Save.
