Hindi Curriculum
The main objective of Hindi classes at Raghukul Vidyapeeth
is to build a foundation in our students with the basics of
Hindi language while keeping the learning fun and align with
Hindu culture and traditions.
• Get students familiarized with the basics of Hindi language
• Introduction to Hindi alphabets, words and sentences of
various complexity levels.
• Develop the ability to use Hindi for the purpose of basic
verbal and written communication
• Nurture a foundational base for Hindi in our students to
make them ready for advanced study of the language
• Connect our students with the rich and vibrant culture of
India - encourage students to participate in various
celebrations of festivals and cultures at Raghunath temple,
before-class light yoga exercises, Prarthana (Prayer) with
selected Shlokas and Rashtriya-Gaan (National Song).

This school year, at Raghukul Vidyapeeth Hindi classes we are
primarily expecting our students to be at one of the below levels:
Level 1 - Beginners
This level is for students who have no previous knowledge of
written or spoken Hindi, Hindi / Devnagari lipi.
Prerequisites: none
Level 2 - Intermediate
This level is for students who have some knowledge of written or
spoken Hindi and are familiar with basic Hindi / Devanagari letters.
Prerequisites: - Students must be fluent with Hindi vowels and consonants
Level 3 - Advanced
This level is for students who have some knowledge of written or
spoken Hindi and are familiar with basic Hindi/Devanagari letters
and have a basic knowledge of maatra .
Prerequisites:
- Students must be fluent with Hindi vowels and consonants
- Students should be familiar with the concept of maatra in Hindi

Before Class Activities
Each Hindi class at Raghukul Vidyapeeth would start with below

Class Conclusion Activities
Each Hindi class at Raghukul Vidyapeeth would conclude with
below activities:
- Class Discussion targeted towards the Hindu culture / Tradition
goals as mentioned in curriculum for each class level
- Recitation of shloka/mantra / prarthana as per the curriculum for
each class level
