HOW TO: Google Forms
Introduction
Google Forms is a free and easy way to collect data about your flock and farm. Rather than storing
multiple paper sheets of farm data, anyone with the Form link can fill out information about egg
counts, mortalities, or pasture health from their smartphone or computer. Data is automatically
uploaded to a spreadsheet in Google Drive, and is easy to manipulate and share. Below, we have
the steps to setting up your own Google Form for farm data collection, as well as ideas about what
data you might collect on a daily or weekly basis. (For further information about setting up a
Google Form, see this website: https://support.google.com/docs/answer/87809?hl=en)
